Surrounded by her Loving family, Evelyn Kay Huffman joined Jesus in Heaven on her 85th Birthday.
She was born in Richmond, Indiana, to Bell and Eugene Young.
She told many Happy stories of her Grandparents farm in Hollansburg Ohio. Marcellas and Florida Runner. He nicknamed her Little Bit. She had 3 siblings: Carol Flatter, Dwight
Young and Charles Young. She had 7 Children Jr , Dee , Mark , Cliff, David , Dianna and Art. She also included her daughters-in-law, Carla and Lorraine as hers; she also had another daughter-in-law, Angel. She had 17 Grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Huffman. Mom loved working with her sister Carol for many years as a Cook at the Wagon Wheel in Greenville Ohio.
Her True Love was cooking and feeding her Family!
She was an Avid reader, She Loved Music, and loved to sing and dance.
She traveled the U.S. with her husband and became an Amateur Geologist, fostering her connection to nature.
Mom, your Love was the anchor and sail of your family’s lives. Your strength, kindness and wisdom echo in every part of us, leaving a beautiful legacy which we will carry forward always.
Forever Grateful for the gift of you… Forever Loved and Forever Missed!
A small graveside service and a celebration of life will be at a later date.
