Edward “Jim” Doseck, 83 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday May 4, 2023 at 5:04 PM at Reid Healthcare, Richmond, Indiana. Jim was born June 4, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of the late Paul and Edith (Tyler) Doseck.

Jim served his country in United States Army, he worked as a police officer for the Greenville Police Department, then as a deputy at the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, he then worked for the Greenville City Park.

Jim was a member of Northside Community Church; Greenville Elks #1139; and was Past President of the Greenville Rotary Club; he enjoyed fishing and coin collecting.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; his brother and sister in law, Donald and Pat Doseck; his sister and brother in law, Ruth and Bob Fine; and his brother in law, Ron Miller.

Jim is survived by his wife, Nancy (Flory) Doseck of Greenville, whom he married June 5, 1959; his children and spouses, Jamie and Bonnie Doseck of Greenville, Lori and Bruce Trosper of Union City, Indiana; his grandchildren and spouses, Tyler Greer, Jennifer and Justin Fourman, Bethany and Dan Floyd, and Brittany and Allen Hodge; his great grandchildren, Logan Inman, Aubrey Hubble, and Grace Floyd; and his sister, Betty Miller of Greenville.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday May 9, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson, Ohio with Pastor Randy Brown officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Northside Community Church.
