Just when things seem to be going well, life changes its course a bit.
This time I’m talking about there no longer being a recycling service in our town, Ansonia.
Supposedly, someone misused it and I won’t argue with that, for there were times that I noticed something was awry…and that has affected us who do recycle to make this world a better place. I guess I will still recycle out of habit and set it out with our trash
It makes me wonder what those who did misuse it are going to do with their stuff from now on.
With the recent winds, I inherited a broken plastic trash can, which reportedly blew near our residence and someone thought it looked like mine so put it in my flower bed (where no flowers grow) in front of our apartment. The other day, when more winds were brewing in the area, I had Jamie bring the trash can in and that’s when we noticed it was broken. Apparently, it was one with wheels underneath it at one time so it would not stand up alone. So, we’re stuck with it, I guess. Unless someone else wants it for some unknown reason. Let me know.
Then, we began enjoying the recent weather conditions, hoping this was a sign of spring’s arrival. That’s when we got a quick crop of snowflakes on Sunday. That was a surprise and we were glad it happened the way it did, with big flakes for a short period of time.
Oh well, life goes on and we have to accept the bad with the good. Please tell us it’s going to get better. What a life! Don’t you just love it?
