GREENVILLE—It didn’t take Divinity Salon and Spa owner Kasey Widener to get the place up and running.
Widener originally worked at the salon, previously a Tangles, and purchased it reopened the business in June 2022.
The word divinity means spreading happiness, beauty and bliss to the world.
“We want a new customer to leave and feel good,” Widener said. “To get what they want, and even more.”
And with all of the salon offerings, Divinity customers won’t need to ask for much.
“We’re a full service salon, with hair, skin and nails,” Widener said. “We have a very diverse group of four hair stylists, that all have their own special techniques they do.”
The salon now offers hand-tied extensions, which are new to the area. The extensions can be for length or volume.
“If you’ve got a wedding coming up, and you want some more oomph to your style you can put them in,” she said. “Those are really just neat for a lot of people who just might not be able to grow their hair, or have damage.”
For aesthetics, the salon offers a wide range, from body waxing to facials. They also offer nano-needling, chemical peels, dermaplaning and more.
With all those services available, the salon even does special events, and occasional make up classes.
“We’re definitely a good team as far as special events, for make up and hair,” she said. “It’s a one-stop-shop. We travel to the venues, where ever they’re at, or actually we’ve done classes even for make up and hair.”
