Darke DD hosted its third annual Family Fun Night Thursday evening.

“It’s an opportunity to give back to our community who supports us in all that we do,” Said Sue Huston. “It’s also an opportunity for some of the families that we support to come out and maybe meet other parents, and kids can meet other kids and start to make those connections.”

There were activities like a photo bomb photo booth, Kona Ice, a hotdog dinner, games/clown, chalk art, face painting, animal demonstrations, first responders, and music. The Greenville area dog club brought out around 8 or 9 dogs to do some tricks and demonstrations, and Shawnee Prairie brought out owls.

It was an absolutely fun event for everyone involved

“Our community really rallied and donated a lot, we’ve got our first responders, and a lot of people have come out,” Huston said.

“We really want to thank our community and all they do to support us.”

Darke DD wanted to thank all those who donated and came out to support and participate in this community event.
