GREENVILLE – The Darke County YMCA Gymnastics had an amazing performance as they hosted the Stars Home Meet on January 31.
The Darke County Xcel Platinum and the Xcel Silver teams both captured the 1st place trophy… while the Xcel Gold team placed a strong 2nd overall.
“Our gymnasts look forward to their home meet every year; it really attracts a big crowd, and we enjoy the community and parents watching the team compete,” said Coach Madison Barga.
Each routine reflected the hard work, courage, and growth happening inside our program every single day.

This season’s athletes are Ashlynn Powell- Level 2, Adaleena Bates- Level 2, Laylah Wright- XCEL Silver, Ivory Scott- XCEL Silver, Emma Schleiger- XCEL Silver, Mikayla Mowery- XCEL Silver, Keira Knittles-Morales- XCEL Silver, Aubrey Klosterman- XCEL Silver, Norah Ramey- XCEL Silver, Madalyn Vrazalich- XCEL Gold, Amaya Knittles-Morales- XCEL Gold, Gabriella Carpenter- XCEL Gold, Parker Fourman- XCEL Platinum, Kenzie Weaver- XCEL Platinum, Niah Silknitter- XCEL Platinum, Catie Painting- XCEL Platinum and Afton Knight- Level 6.
The team coaches include Kristen Short, Madison Barga, Hailey Myers, Sophia Drew and Taelen Unger.
