GREENVILLE—The Darke County Sheriff’s Office took a report of counterfeit money being passed at a local business on the afternoon of February 10, 2023.
The counterfeit money was actually passed on the evening of February 9, 2023. On February 10, 2023, a local bank discovered the money that the business deposited was
counterfeit and notified the local business. The United States Secret Service was notified of the counterfeit transaction. Included is a still photograph of the suspect. If anyone has any information as to the identity of the suspect, please notify the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
