GREENVILLE—On May 12, 2023 at approximately 4:00 PM, Darke County Deputies along with Greenville City Fire, Greenville Township Fire and Rescue responded to the intersection of US Route 127 and Childrens Home-Bradford Road for a two-vehicle injury crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed a gray 2019 Chevy Cruze driven by David Reynolds 41, of Gettysburg, OH. and his 16-year-old son, front seat passenger, were traveling eastbound on Childrens Home-Bradford Road and stopped at the intersection of US Route 127. Mr. Reynolds then attempted to continue across the intersection and was struck by a northbound black 2019 Kia Soul driven by Brooke Copeland 41, of Wapakoneta, OH. Both drivers and juvenile passenger were transported to WayneHealth Care for injuries. Both drivers were then transported to Miami Valley Hosptial.
Alcohol is suspected in this crash.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
