DARKE COUNTY – Darke County offices are closed today, Monday, January 26, 2026, due to the snowstorm that moved through the area on Sunday.
Despite the closure, county crews remain active across the county. Highway and maintenance personnel continue working to push snow and clear roadways, sheriff’s deputies are patrolling county roads, and maintenance staff are addressing multiple building projects, including repairs to the courthouse boiler.
County officials plan to reopen offices on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, with normal operating hours.
