GREENVILLE – The Darke County Board of Commissioners met Tuesday afternoon.
Commissioners Matt Aultman and Marshall Combs were present. Larry Holmes was away on a trip.
Under Resolution (R-165-2024), a Fund Advance by the Darke County Grants for the 2022 CDBG Grant was requested and approved. This advance revenue will pay $462.00 in maintenance costs for the copier in the Loudy Office.
The Commissioners approved a Fund Advance – Back for the 2023 Airport Runway Rehab Grant. The Darke County Commissioners and airport requested an advance of $35,031.00 as revenue to the General Fund.
The Commissioners also approved an ‘Adopting Position Description’ for a Building Maintenance Superintendent brought to the board by Dale Musser, Facilities & Safety Manager. This position was a Certificate of Promotion for Jeff Bowler, a current employee, and it was also approved effective May 5th, 2024. This Building Maintenance Superintendent will allow room for additional leadership and supervision when needed.
Aultman also shared that the public should be aware and use caution when traveling on the roadway. There is a lot of slow-moving equipment out there this time of year.
