DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners’ December 11, 2025, regular meeting started at 1:30 p.m. with Commissioners Combs and Flatter present. The Commissioners then approved the minutes from December 9th. Then, the examination and allowance of bills for Dec. 11th were presented. The totals were $123,842.14 for the General fund, $264,137.10 for outside funds, and a total of $387,979.24
Transfers of Appropriations were next. The Commissioners had two transfers: One to cover machinery and equipment for $100.00, and one to cover Worker’s Comp for $30.00
One fund advance back, and one fund advance were next for the Grants Dept. The advance back was for the 2024 CDBG Grant for $131.00. The fund advance was for the Gordon/Ithaca Sewer Grant totaling $21,000.00 to cover Choice One Engineering’s July, August, and September preliminary reports.
A Contract for Turn Key Environmental Consultants for post asbestos abatement at 124 Cross Street in Palestine was approved. The contract was for $325.00.
