DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners, Aaron Flatter, and Marshall Combs were present; Commissioner Aultman was absent at the June 3, 2025 meeting.
The regular session began at 1:30 in the Administration Building. On the agenda were the regular session minutes from May 29th, which were passed unanimously. The examination and allowance of bills for May 29th and June 3rd were then presented. The vouchers, including any “then and now” certificates in the amount of the General fund, were $58,908.12; Outside General funds of $106,001.85, for a total of $164,909.97, were unanimously approved for payment.
Darke County Soil and Water (outside fund) transferred $2,293.00 from other operations to indirect costs. Next, Darke County JFS was approved to buy 2025 Chevrolet Malibu vehicles from Troutwine’s Auto Sales to replace two older vehicles. The total cost will be $52,320.00 plus any temporary tag fees applicable.
Finally, a fund transfer was approved for JFS for the county’s monthly obligation of $60,854.75.
The meeting ended at 1:40. The next session is scheduled for Thursday, June 5th, at 1:30.
