DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners’ regular October 16, 2025, meeting started at 1:30 p.m. with Commissioners Aultman, Flatter, and Combs present. The Commissioners then approved the minutes from Oct. 16th. The examination and allowance of bills were $54,085.81 for the General fund, $1,446,586.60 for outside funds, and a total of $1,500,642.41.
There were two Transfers of Appropriations, one for Developmental Disabilities for $.20 (yes, twenty cents!) to cover Medicaid waiver fees for quarter #1, 2026. Secondly, Darke County Common Pleas transferred $50,000.00 to cover the Jury room remodel.
The resignation of Joshua Baker at Ditch Maintenance as a seasonal mower was accepted.
An expense request for Common Pleas court was presented and accepted for Judge Fliehman to attend the OCPJA Winter Conference in Dublin, Ohio, from December 3rd to 5th. The Amount was $954.30.
At 1:38, the Commissioners went into Executive Session for pending imminent Court action. They were out of session at 1:40.
The regular session then ended at 1:46 after community questions.
