DARKE COUNTY – On August 4th, 2026, the Darke County 4-H Beef Club held their August meeting in the cattle show arena. The meeting started with the saying of the pledges.
The theme for the meeting was Best Show clothes with the winners being Allison and Keaton Horst and Rylynn Hartle. Recreation was a game of Head, Shoulders, Knee and Cone.
The fair schedule and stalling was discussed. During roll call, members responded with their favorite fair food.
The club’s next meeting will be their annual banquet on September 20th at Bible Fellowship Church in Greenville.
