GREENVILLE – Friday afternoon, Creme de la Creme officially celebrated its March opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new location at 322 S. Broadway St., where many gathered to celebrate. 

“We’re so pleased to have Creme de la Creme be part of Darke County. They are a great addition to our community,” said the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Rachel Neal.

Creme de la Creme is owned by Jason and Jenni Blackburn. Jason expressed their gratitude to the community and the Chamber of Commerce. 

“We just want to thank everybody. We’re glad to be here, and we’re glad to be part of the community,” exclaimed Jason Blackburn. 

This family-run business started by decorating cakes, wedding cakes, and cupcakes in 2008. In 2014, they started their very well-known food truck. After much success with their growing family business, they soon started hosting food truck events in Darke County in 2017.

Creme del a Creme built a commercial kitchen in Arcanum in 2023. After completing their first facility, they began making and creating their handcrafted ice cream. 

In March of this year, they opened a storefront in downtown Greenville after experimenting with a pop-up shop.

Their current summer hours were also recently announced. Mondays and Thursdays are 4-10 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays are 12-10 p.m.
