GREENVILLE – Jaxon Strunk popped the big question, “Will you marry me?” to Rhianna Dennistion at the Great Darke County Fair following two years of dating.

Strunk, a National Trail graduate, asked Arcanum’s Denniston to be his wife on Sunday while the couple was taking in the fair and the Travis Tritt concert in the grandstand.

“She shows pigs, and it’s her last year showing,” Strunk noted, was his reason for asking Denniston for her hand in marriage at the Great Darke County Fair. “I wanted to make it special for her.”

The couple has been dating for the past two years, plans to get married in two to three years, and has recently been approved to purchase a house in Pitsburg, Ohio.

Denniston works at a dog grooming salon in Arcanum, and Strunk is employed at Super Tech Automotive in Union, Ohio.
