DARKE COUNTY – The July 29, 2025, Darke County Commissioners regular meeting started at 1:30 p.m. with Commissioners Aultman, Flatter, and Combs present. The Commissioner’s first order of business was the reading of session minutes from Tuesday, the 27th. They were approved. The session proceeded with the examination and allowance of bills for July 29th. Vouchers amounting to $88,908.54 out of the General Fund, and outside funds of $104,341.42 for a total of $193,249.96 were approved for payment.
A Transfer of Appropriations for the Darke County Sheriff for tow bills for $580.00 was approved.
The Darke County Grants Dept. had a fund advance of $32,600.00 for the 2023 Lead Safe Ohio Grant, to cover a pay app and work at 203 Cross St., Palestine. It was approved.
A letter of Resignation was accepted from Dan Hollinger, effective October 31, 2025.
Commissioners went into Executive Session at 1:38 for pending or Imminent Court Action, Civil Complaint against manufacturers and distributors of Opiates. The board was declared out of Executive session at 1:44.
