GREENVILLE – The Darke County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday afternoon to discuss Official Voting representatives for CCAO and funds advancing back to the General Fund.

Commissioners Matt Aultman, Marshall Combs, and Larry Holmes were present.

The board approved Resolution (R-14-2024). This is a fund advance back from the 2022 FAA AIP Grant. This advances a total of $30,769 back into the General Fund.

The board then approved Resolution (R-15-2024). This designates an official representative and Alternate for Voting for the Annual CCAO Meeting 2024. The code of regulations of the County Commissioners Association of Ohio requires each member county to designate an official representative and alternate to vote at any annual or special meeting. Commissioner Marshall Combs is designated the Official Voting Representative, and Commissioner Larry Holmes is designated the Alternate for Darke County.

The board also approved Resolution (R-16-2024). This is a fund advance back from the 2022 CHIP LAP Grant. This advances a total of $23,070 back into the General Fund.

The board then approved Resolution (R-17-2024). This is a two-step fund advance from the 2021 CHIP CDBG Grant. The first step advances $13,381.53 back to the General Fund. The second step advances $22,668.47 back to the General Fund.

“It’s the contractor numbers and the bids and everything that goes along with the CHIP Programs,” Commissioner Matt Aultman said. “It looks like three or four homes were taken care of during that time frame.”

The board also approved Resolution (R-18-2024). This is a fund advance back from the 2022 CDBG Grant. This advances a total of $17,000 back to the General Fund.

“If I’m not mistaken, this is part of the New Madison project when we were doing the street reconstruction down there,” Commissioner Matt Aultman said.
