DARKE COUNTY – The August 14th Darke County Commissioners’ regular meeting started at 1:30 p.m. with Commissioners Aultman, Flatter, and Combs present.
The Commissioner’s first order of business was the reading of session minutes from Tuesday, the 12th. They were approved. The session proceeded with the examination and allowance of bills for August 12th and 14th. Vouchers amounting to $30,102.77 out of the General Fund, and outside funds of $774,449.02 for a total of $804,551.79 were approved for payment.
Darke County Juvenile/Probate court transferred $29.376.00 from Salary full-time to Salary reimbursement. It was approved.
Brad Horsley is attending the 2025 Ohio GIS Conference in Columbus on Sept. 14th-16th. His expense request was for $1,468.00 and was approved.
Two items were journalized: the monthly Obligations and Securities report and the Ditch assessments for Darke, Auglaize, Mercer, Shelby, and Van Wert, certifying the maintenance assessments for collection in 2026.
