DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners, Aaron Flatter, Marshall Combs, and Matt Aultman were present for the July 15th regular session. The session began at 1:30 in the Administration Building. On the agenda was the regular session minutes from July 10th, which passed unanimously. The examination and allowance of bills were presented for July 10th and 15th. The vouchers, including any “then and now” certificates in the amount of the General Fund, were $6,657.40. Outside General Funds of $47,175.69 combined for a total of $53,833.09 and was unanimously approved.
A transfer of Appropriations for the D.C. Commissioners, and Juvenile and Probate Courts was presented. The Commissioners transferred $600 from postage to Memorial Day support, Juvenile/Probate transferred $1500.00 from Vehicle Maintenance to Monitoring/Surveillance. Both were approved.
A fund Advance for the 2024 CDBG Grant was approved for $13.66.
A letter was presented by the Commissioners to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for the New Weston Community on a permitted well. The Village wants to establish a monitoring system and implement seasonal limits for usage of the well.
Finally, the Sheriff’s office had an expense request for a recommended Class on Dispatcher training and Difficult caller training in Vandalia on August 12th of this year. Heather Reynolds, Taylor Parton, and Camden Cook will attend for a total of $957.00. It was approved.
