GREENVILLE – The Darke County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday afternoon to discuss transfers of appropriations, fund advancements, and a contract with Walls Bros. Asphalt Co., Inc.
Commissioners Matt Aultman and Larry Holmes were present.
The board approved Resolution (R-409-2023). This is a series of transfers of appropriations. The first is $4,695.09 to the Darke County Auditor for reimbursement salary for 2023 administrative costs. Next is $350 to Darke County Adult Probation to put money in the appropriate line. Then, there is $822 to the Darke County Airport for various bills. $12,800 to the Darke County Juvenile Court to cover Medical Pro. Services. The last is $1,328 to the Dark County Prosecuting attorney for the OVI Law Handbook and Office Supplies.
The board then approved Resolution (R-410-2023). This is a Fund advance of $14,355 to cover Bell Excavating invoices for the demo of properties on St. Route 118 and Beam Road. This will be funded back to the General Fund once the revenue is received from the 2022 Building Demolition Revitalization Grant.
The board also approved Resolution (R-411-2023). This is an advance of EMPG Grant funds for 2024 of $55,650. This will be funded back to the General Fund once the revenue is received from the Grant.
The board approved Resolution (R-412-2023). This is a fund advance of $34,187.40 for the Dark County Airport to cover Buschur Electric pay apps #4 and #5. This will be funded back to the General Fund once the revenue is received from the 2022 FAA AIP Grant.
The board then approved Contract (C-7-2023) with Walls Bros. Asphalt Co., Inc. This contract is for the resurfacing of Horatio-Harris Creek, Beamsville-Union City, and Gettysburg-Webster Roads. The contract amount is $2,206,038.87.
