“Scrimmages are all about finding out what we need to work on tomorrow in practice,” said Coach Abbey Moore. “We have some things on our list and the biggest thing is just coming out every day when our feet hit this floor and giving all we got.”

Coach Moore saw success in going to her bench during the night’s scrimmage action.

“That is huge to have a spark like that,” Moore said of her bench play. “That’s going to put us in positions better this year to hopefully allow us to be very successful.”

“You always want to come out of the gate with a punch but I feel like we can come out of the gate and have our second punch come off the bench,” concluded Coach Moore. “I think that is going to make us a tough team to face this year – to be able to have that so I am real excited.”
