PIQUA – The City is excited to announce its Shakespeare in the Park event on Saturday, August 9, with a free outdoor performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream presented by the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company.
The performance will begin at 7 p.m. at Lock 9 Park in downtown Piqua. Residents and visitors are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy an evening of live theater along the Great Miami River. The event is free and open to the public.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a whimsical comedy filled with mischief, mistaken identities and magical mayhem. The production is part of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s free Shakespeare tour, which brings high-quality performances to communities throughout the tri-state area.
