Bradford, OH – The Railroaders hosted Twin Valley South and presented their homecoming court and crowning of king and queen Friday night.
The homecoming king candidates were Eric Keener, Garrett Trevino, Landon Wills, Tucker Miller and Hudson Hill. Queen candidates were Tegan Canan, Savannah Lingo, Izabella Painter, Brooke Crickmore and Alan Canan.
The 2023 King & Queen were Eric Keener and Brooke Crickmore.
In football action the Railroaders kept the game in striking distance in the 1st quarter after jr. quarterback Owen Canan connected with senior Trey Schmelzer for a 40-yard TD but trailed 13-8 at the end of the period.
The Panthers offense was clicking, and the defense was good enough to keep Bradford out of the endzone the rest of the night.
Twin Valley South would spoil the night going on to win the game 41-8.
Canan would throw 25 times with 13 completions for 154 yards. Hudson Hill had 8 receptions for 69 yards and Schmelzer 51 yards on two catches including the 40-yard TD grab.
Bradford falls to 2-6 on the year and will travel to Tri-Village this Friday.
