ARCANUM—The Arcanum Lady Trojans and the visiting Bethel Lady Bees went to the halftime break, with Bethel holding an 18-16 advantage. The Lady Trojans struggled in the second half, as Bethel took the third quarter 22-12 to lead 40-28 after three quarters. They then took the fourth quarter 12-9 to earn the non-conference matchup.

“The second half, we got beat to all the loose balls,” said Arcanum coach Abbey Moore. “We weren’t rebounding the way we were in the first half, and some of that was fatigue – we have to do better on that.”
“We have to put two halves together, play four quarters,” Coach Moore added. “We have to figure it out together as a team.”

Scoring honors went to Bethel freshman Jocelyn Stegner with a game-high 18 points, followed by freshman Caitlyn Jefferson with 14 points.
Alexis Gibbins paced Arcanum with 13 points.
Bethel entered the night on a three-game skid and a 0-3 mark in the Three Rivers Conference. With the win, the Lady Bees improved to 4-3 overall.
Arcanum stands at 3-0 in the WOAC and 4-2 overall.
