DARKE COUNTY— The My County Link Athletes of the Week for the week of Nov. 5, 2022 are Tri-Village seniors Morgan Hunt, and Rylee Sagester, with the Lady Patriots varsity basketball team.
Hunt, a forward, recently signed on to play basketball with Thomas Moore University, of Kentucky, a NCCA DII team. Last season, she was third in the Western Ohio Athletic Conference (WOAC) for field goal percentage, with 52.4%, and fifth for assists, with 4.5 assists a game.
Sagester, a guard, just signed to play basketball with Marshall University, of WV, a NCCA DI team. Last season, she was fifth in the WOAC for ppg with 16.6 pts per game, and sixth for assists with 3.9 per game.
The Lady Patriots went 25-3 in the 2021-22 season. Their first game of the 2022-23 season is Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Mississinawa Valley at 6 p.m.
