DARKE COUNTY – This week’s local spotlight athletes are Ansonia varsity football seniors Asher Shives and Peyton Kelch.
The Ansonia Tigers football team is the last to play in Darke County as they line up to play Marion Local in the Regional Semi-Finals. A lot of the Tigers’ success comes from their front line and two seniors from Ansonia lead the way.
Asher Shives and Peyton Kelch both are 1st team WOAC All-League on offense and defense. Shives was also just named 1st Team All-Southwest District offensive lineman and Kelch was 1st Team All-Southwest District defensive lineman.
