DARKE COUNTY – This week’s Athletes of the Week are Arcanum varsity basketball players Aiden Carlisle and Matthew McCans.
Aiden is a junior at Arcanum recently broke the school’s single-game record with (9) 3-pointers against Riverside on Saturday, January 17th in a home game. It was a record that stood for over 27 years.
Just three days later Trojan senior Matthew McCans followed that up in the very next game and made (10) 3-pointers in a game at Union City setting a new 3-point record.
