DARKE COUNTY—The My County Link Athletes of the Week for the week of Feb. 17, 2023 are Versailles’s A.J. Greisdorn and Mississinawa Valley’s Judah Ben Winchester.
Greisdorn, a guard on the Varsity Tigers basketball team, is a junior year starter. The Tigers play in sectionals on Saturday, against Preble Shawnee at Northmont High School.
Winchester, a senior on the Varsity Blackhawks swim team, recently qualified for state in the 500 yard freestyle and the 200-yard freestyle. Winchester is the only person at Mississinawa Valley to make three state appearances in an OHSAA sport.
