Artifacts Ink Grand Opening with Artist Tammy Lynn Fox

Friday morning brought the grand opening of Artifacts Ink. Artifacts Ink is Tammy Lynn Fox’s art gallery, a shop to buy art supplies and prints, and a place to take workshop classes.

Opening the shop with a focus on art and art supplies in downtown Greenville was by design.

“It’s a great place for small business,” Fox said. “There is a lot of community involvement and a lot of commitment to shop small. I can’t think of any place better.”

Their hours are Thursdays and Fridays, 11 am – 5 pm, and Saturdays, 10 am – 3 pm.

Artist Tammy Lynn Fox works in Mixed Media, primarily collage, fluid acrylics, and watercolor abstract or semi-realistic art. Fox is predominantly self-taught and has learned through study and observation.

“I am inspired by the details in nature, in found objects that I come across, strange inconsistencies and color,” Fox said. “In my life, God First and my family are incredibly important to me.”

The shop has a couple of classes coming up soon.

One is Monday, August 7, from 6:30 – 8 pm. This class is for Handmade Papermaking. In this class, you learn and make three sheets of paper for art, journaling, and card making.

Another is on Monday, September 11, 6:30 pm – 8 pm. This class is for Healing through Art. In this class, you bring out your inner self, explore, express, connect, find meaning, and learn more about yourself through making a collage.

“My life is filled with love, blessings, and inner joy beyond measure,” Fox said. I am so grateful for God, family, friends, and the opportunity to share my art with you.”
