ARCANUM – Arcanum Wayne Trail Historical Society has two events in November open to the public. An educational talk will be presented on Thursday, November 13, by Fort GreeneVille Daughters of the American Revolution, Regent Debbie Nisonger and Vice-Regent Linda Riley. This event, free to the public, opens at 6 pm for guests to view displays commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States’ Independence. The DAR presentation begins at 6:30 pm.
The dates for the annual Christmas Bazaar, “All Things Christmas,” are Friday, November 28, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm and Saturday, the 29th, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Some items are new, most everything is gently used. Also planned is a 50/50 Raffle, Door Prizes and Santa’s Bake Shoppe. Saturday, only the children can shop in Santa’s Tots Shoppe. Free Bits and Pieces will be available on the outdoor stage.
Located at 123 W. George Street, the first-floor rooms are transformed into a Christmas shoppers and collectors’ wonderland.
