ARCANUM – Recently Arcanum MVCTC FFA Members competed in the County and District FFA Public Speaking Contests. In the category of Advance Prepared was Cheyenne Swisher, she wrote and recited her speech about the Avian Flu.
Seth Fearon and Katelynne Michael both competed in Extemporaneous Speaking. They both drew a topic when they arrived at the contest and were given 30 minutes to research and write a 4-6 minute speech. Seth placed 2nd in the County contest and the following week completed in the District contest where he placed 3rd.
