DARKE COUNTY – Following an investigation, Ryan E. Snyder (42) of Ansonia was charged and arrested on May 10 for Pandering Sexually Oriented Material Involving a Minor, a second-degree felony.
He is accused of committing the crime on or about February 2, 2025, with the knowledge of the character of the material or performance involved, creating, recording, photographing, filming, developing, reproducing or publishing material that shows a minor participating or engaging in sexual activity, masturbation or bestiality.
Snyder remains incarcerated in the Darke County Jail with a bond amount of $75,000. He faces up to eight years in prison and would be required to register as a sex offender for 25 years if convicted as charged.
Additional charges may be added pending a Grand Jury indictment later this month.
