COLUMBUS – On May 2nd and 3rd, the Ansonia FFA officers traveled to Columbus where they attended the State FFA Convention.
On the 2nd, they participated in many activities, one being a pizza-making challenge. The officers had to use limited ingredients to make the best possible pizza.
On the 3rd the Ansonia FFA spent most of their day at the convention center. At two of the award ceremonies that they attended, they were recognized and received awards. Avalyn Locke was recognized for her gold-rated Secretaries book, Carl Schlecty was recognized for his gold-rated Treasures book, and Sophia Aultman received her state degree.
