ANSONIA – The Ansonia Animal 4-H meeting was called to order by President Savannah Oswalt. Pledges to the flags were led by Jensen Fullerton. He then gave the health report to drink water at fair and when you are playing sports. The safety report was to wear safety glasses while using a saw from Kingsley Waymire.

We discussed old business of Skillathon dates and Rabbit tattooing. We talked about the Fourth of July parade where Austin participated in decorating the float, she said it was fun. Kingsley liked throwing candy.

New business was to vote on a fair booth theme which was determined. We also sang Happy Birthday to Savannah and Kingsley for July birthdays. Advisor, Tiffany Oswalt mentioned the community service idea of giving the Darke County Animal Shelter needed supplies of bleach, puppy food, blankets, toys and treats. Members can bring one of these things to the next meeting.

Also Cloverbuds made pinwheels and learned about wind and air movement. Kingsley Waymire demonstrated how you can put dish soap on your finger and it will separate pepper in the water. This explains surface friction.
