Ansonia Animal 4-H Club holds first meeting of 2026

ANSONIA – The Ansonia Animal 4-H Club held its first meeting of the year on January 11, 2026, at the Ansonia Methodist Church at 2 pm. The meeting was called to order by President Savannah Oswait. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by advisor Irene Rismiller, followed by the 4-H pledge.

At this meeting, 4-H officers were inducted into their new roles. Our new officers include: President Savannah Oswalt, Vice President Kingsley Waymire, Secretary Savannah Oswalt, Treasurer Brady Hartle, Reporter Oliver Seger, Health Austin Seger, Safety Matthew Wilson, and Historian Aivrey Crafton.

The Cloverbuds learned how important it is to exercise. Austin Seger gave a health report about the importance of wearing hats and gloves. Matthew Wilson gave a report about staying safe in the winter by wearing a coat.

Our next meeting will be held on February 8th at 2 pm at Valley’s Edge for snow tubing.
