DARKE COUNTY – The countdown is officially on for the Great Darke County Fair! Many youths prepare to bring in their animals and double-check their packing lists.

The Darke County Junior Fair Equine Department is no exception. Each year, many youth exhibitors compete with one another to show off their hard work.

The Darke County Horse Committee is also known for running the 2024 Pie In The Face Contest each year, with proceeds benefiting the Darke County Horse Committee. Each year, the money is used for various upkeep purposes to benefit all of the Jr. Fair equine exhibitors.
