DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners’ May 7, 2026, regular meeting started at 1:30 p.m. with Commissioners Aultman, Combs, and Flatter present. The Commissioners then approved the minutes from May 5th.
The Examination and Allowance of bills dated May 7th were presented. The General Fund amount was $21,862.03, and the Outside General Funds were $75,207.56, for a total of $97,069.59. They were approved.
The Darke County Animal Shelter had two items to declare as junk. A damaged Large Live Animal Cage, and a 10’x15’ large woven kennel. Both were approved.
The Adult Probation Dept. had an expense request for Kelsey Monnin. The request was to attend the Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections Bureau of Community Sanctions Care Guides in Columbus on May 19th. The estimated cost is $70.00.
