GREENVILLE – The Alchemy Cocktail Lounge, 203 West Main St. in Greenville, presented a $500.00 Vocal Music Scholarship to Greenville High School graduating Senior Asia Thompson at the Awards Ceremony held May 23 at Greenville Sr. High School.
Thompson was an Honor student, member of Concert Choir, Collage and she also participated in the highly acclaimed Show Choir Wave-Aires, led by teacher Chelsea Whirlridge.
Asia will be attending Ball State University majoring in Music Education, and she is the first person in her family to ever go to college.
Ted Finnarn Attorney, representing Alchemy owner Matt Delaplane, presented the Award.
