GREENVILLE – After many years of dedicated service to the Cancer Association of Darke County (CADC), Executive Director Christine Lynn will soon be retiring. While we are excited for Christine as she begins this next chapter, her retirement marks the end of an important era for an organization that has touched the lives of so many individuals and families throughout our community.
The CADC Board of Directors is incredibly grateful for Christine’s years of commitment, compassion, and leadership. Through her dedication, she has helped ensure that individuals facing cancer and their families have access to support, resources, and services when they need them most. Her impact extends well beyond the day-to-day responsibilities of the position, and she will be greatly missed by the board, volunteers, community partners, and especially the patients and families CADC serves.
“Christine has given so much of herself to this organization and the people we serve. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication, compassion, and the relationships she has built throughout our community. We recognize that the next Executive Director will have some very big shoes to fill, but we are excited about the opportunity to find someone who shares Christine’s passion for our mission and commitment to putting patients first.”
— Melissa Meyer, CADC Board President
As we look toward the future, CADC is seeking its next Executive Director. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and continue building upon the foundation Christine has established.
So, who are we looking for?
In Christine’s words, we are looking for someone who has a genuine heart for service. Someone who sees this as more than a job, and who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. The ideal candidate will be actively engaged in the community, willing to attend health fairs and community events, speak with local organizations about CADC’s services, and build meaningful relationships with area businesses, nonprofits, churches, and other community partners.
This individual should also be organized, focused, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to manage deadlines and competing priorities while never losing sight of what matters most: putting the patient first.
The next Executive Director will have an opportunity to continue CADC’s mission of supporting cancer patients and their families throughout Darke County, while strengthening the community relationships that make this organization so special.
