DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners’ November 5, 2026 regular meeting began at 1:30 p.m. with Commissioners Combs and Flatter present. The Tuesday, Nov. 3rd minutes were approved.
Examination and Allowance of Bills totals for Nov. 5th were read and approved. They were: General Fund- $431,941.19, Outside Funds – $3,060,725.66, and a total of $3,092,666.85.
Various departments had Transfers of Appropriations. The Prosecutors office transferred $7,500.00 for training costs; the Vehicle Maintenance Dept. transferred $3,500.00 for vehicle repair. Common Pleas Court transferred $3,000.00 for limited-scope representation for various cases through the end of the year. The Engineer transferred $160,000.00 for salt, ice, grits, gas, and diesel, and Juvenile Court transferred $600.00 for office supplies. All were approved.
The Commissioners approved an agreement with Turn Key Environmental Consultants for $325.00 for 203 South Sycamore Street in Union City, OH.
Paramount Group LLC and the Commissioners entered into a community Hangar Lease Agreement for storing aircraft. The term is for 1 year from November 1st to December 31st of, 2027. The lease is $ 0.35 per square foot and is paid monthly.
A Hangar rental agreement between Todd Bailey and the Commissioners from Jan., 2027 to Dec. 2027 for $130.00 a month was approved.
The Prosecutors office had two expense requests. The first expense is for Braden Garbig to attend the Building Trial Skills conference in Boston, MA, Dec. 7-11, 2026. The estimated cost is $7,015.28. The second expense is for Deborah Quigley to attend the 2026 OPAA Annual Training in Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 3-4, 2026. The estimated total cost is $2,556.32. Both were approved.
