Darke County Teens Invited to Compete in the 2026 Miss Winterfest Pageant

Applications are due Thursday, Nov. 12, for the Wednesday, Nov. 18 pageant at the Greenville Elks

GREENVILLE – Main Street Greenville is inviting Darke County teens ages 15 to 18 to compete for the title of Miss Winterfest at the 2026 Miss Winterfest Pageant on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at the Greenville Elks. Interviews begin at 5 p.m., and the pageant starts at 7 p.m. Applications are due Thursday, Nov. 12.

Contestants will show who they are in an interview, then take the stage in front of the community. Judges will score each contestant in four categories: interview, personality, scholastic achievement, and formalwear. Scholastic achievement is based on a recent transcript or report card submitted with the application.

Contestants wear an outfit that reflects their personality for the interview and a floor-length gown or formalwear for the evening portion. Awards will go to Miss Winterfest (the Queen), first runner-up, second runner-up, and Miss Congeniality, who is chosen by the contestants themselves. The Queen and her court are committed to taking part in the Hometown Holiday Horse Parade on Saturday, Nov. 21. The Queen will also take part in Winterfest on Dec. 4 and 5 and in Main Street Greenville’s downtown events in 2027.

Contestants must be 15 to 18 years old on Nov. 18 and live in Darke County. Every contestant also needs a sponsor who contributes $50, due by the Nov. 12 deadline. Sponsorships can be paid by check made out to Main Street Greenville, in cash, or online.

To apply, visit experiencemainstreet.com/p/2026-miss-winterfest-pageant-application. Printed applications can be returned to Main Street Greenville, 421 S. Broadway, and a transcript or report card can be emailed to info@mainstreetgreenville.org with the contestant’s name and “Miss Winterfest” in the subject line.

Teens and their families can learn more at an informational meeting on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 5 p.m. at Sure Shot Tap House in Greenville.

“We are excited to bring a pageant to downtown Greenville that gives Darke County teens another way to showcase themselves and the hard work they put into academics, sports and extracurriculars,” said Lauren Ignaffo, Executive Director of Main Street Greenville. “We urge anyone who is interested to apply online or come to our informational meeting on Saturday, Nov. 7.”
