Greenville Masons and Eastern Stars Welcome Community to Annual Holiday Craft Show and Food Drive

GREENVILLE – The holiday season is just around the corner, and Greenville Masonic Lodge No. 143 and Fort Black Chapter No. 336 of the Order of the Eastern Star invite the community to celebrate the season with a day of local shopping, charitable giving, and family fun on Saturday, November 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will take place at Greenville Masonic Lodge, 200 Memorial Drive, Greenville, and will feature an annual Holiday Craft Show, a community canned and non-perishable food drive, and Donuts with Santa, including free family photos.

Holiday Craft Show Showcases Local Talent

The annual Holiday Craft Show will give visitors an opportunity to discover unique, handcrafted gifts and seasonal treasures while supporting local artisans and vendors. With the holidays approaching, shoppers can find thoughtful gifts for family and friends while helping small businesses and talented craftspeople in the region.

Organizers encourage residents to shop locally, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and discover the creativity and craftsmanship that make community events special.

Community Food Drive Supports Darke County Families

Alongside the craft show, the Lodge and Chapter will collect canned and non-perishable food items to help families throughout Darke County during the holiday season.

As winter approaches and holiday expenses increase, many families face added challenges in keeping food on the table. The organizations hope to ease some of that burden by encouraging neighbors to help neighbors through simple acts of generosity.

Requested donations include canned vegetables and fruits, soups, boxed meals, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, frozen foods, and other non-perishable food items.

All food collected will be delivered to Greenville’s Fish Food Pantry to help provide essential nourishment to individuals and families in need.

Through the generosity of the community, Greenville Masonic Lodge has continued to make regular food donations to the pantry. This holiday drive builds upon that ongoing commitment to serving others and strengthening the community.

For the Masons and Eastern Stars, the food drive represents more than collecting groceries. It reflects the enduring principle of charity and the belief that no family should have to face the holidays without hope or assistance.

Every donation, regardless of size, can make a meaningful difference.

Donuts with Santa Bring Holiday Smiles

Families are also invited to enjoy Donuts with Santa, where children can meet Santa Claus, enjoy fresh donuts and receive free photos to remember the occasion.

The family-friendly gathering offers an opportunity to create cherished holiday memories while enjoying the warmth and fellowship of the season.

Whether visitors come to shop for handcrafted gifts, contribute food for local families, or share a special moment with Santa, organizers hope everyone will find something meaningful to enjoy.

Greenville Masonic Lodge No. 143 and Fort Black Chapter No. 336 of the Order of the Eastern Star encourage residents throughout Darke County to attend, participate, and help make the season brighter for their neighbors.

The event reflects a shared commitment to community, compassion, and service to humanity. By supporting local artisans, helping families in need, and bringing people together, the organizations hope to spread the spirit of generosity that makes the holiday season special.

The public is invited to attend Saturday, November 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Greenville Masonic Lodge, 200 Memorial Drive, Greenville, Ohio.

Details and vendor information may be obtained directly from Ron Nischwitz at 937-621-9320.
