DARKE COUNTY – The Crowing Coops 4-H Club wrapped up another great year with a fun end-of-year celebration!
Members and their families gathered for a cookout and carry-in meal. Everyone brought delicious food to share, and we enjoyed spending time together outside. The weather was beautiful, and families had a great time playing outdoor games, laughing, and just having fun!
During our celebration, we also took time to recognize some of our members for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
Leadership Awards were presented to Ethan Subler, Cash Bubeck, and Grant Moore for showing great leadership and being positive role models in our club.
Achievement Awards were given to Ellie Walker, Penn Bubeck, Grant Moore, and Lilly Hawkins for their accomplishments and hard work throughout the 4-H year.
We also had a special moment as we celebrated one of our Cloverbuds, Owen Hawkins, graduating and becoming an official member of the Crowing Coops 4-H Club! We are excited to welcome another member and can’t wait to see what they accomplish!
It was a great way to end the year and celebrate all the fun memories we made together. From showing our poultry at the fair to learning new things and helping our community, we had a lot to be proud of this year. I think one of the best parts of 4-H is getting to spend time with friends and making new memories!
Our next regular Crowing Coops meeting will be held on October 26th at 7:00 p.m. at Shawnee Prairie.
We are looking forward to another fun and exciting year with Crowing Coops!
