DOMESTIC

August 21, 2026 – At approximately 2132 hours, I was dispatched to 1160 E Russ Rd; Las Marias, on a domestic dispute

Upon arrival, officers spoke to Megan Miller and William Willoughby. The two advised they are in a romantic relationship and live together. Once they arrived at Las Marias, the two got into a verbal argument. They both advised that nothing was physical and everyone checked ok. William stated that it was the anniversary for Megan’s father’s passing and she has been upset by it

The two stated they were ok and William was able to drive the vehicle back to their residence

Megan advised there were 5 school-aged children which belong to her who were present during the dispute but did not want to tell me their information.

WARANT

August 21, 2026 – At approximately 1436 hours, I was made aware of a subject with a warrant leaving Asian Buffet, 521 Wagner Avenue.

I received a phone call from Dep. Crumley with the Darke County Sheriff’s Office advising he observed a male he was able to identify as Ashdon Dyson. Dep. Crumley stated he knew Ashdon had an active warrant for his arrest through the Preble County Sheriff’s Office on an original charge of failure to comply. Dep. Crumley advised he witnessed Ashdon getting into the back passenger seat of a gray truck that was pulling a trailer that had a lawn mower on it. I observed a vehicle matching that description bearing Ohio registration TRW8767 on the rear of the trailer traveling northbound on Wagner Avenue before turning right onto East Main Street. Based on the information provided to me, I conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle near the intersection of East Main Street and Driftwood
Drive.

Upon approaching the passenger side of the vehicle, I observed a male in the back passenger side of the vehicle. I asked the male if he was Ashdon, to which he stated he was. I ordered Ashdon out of the vehicle to which he complied. I placed Ashdon in handcuffs that were gap checked and double locked. Ashdon’s person was searched at this time, with no contraband located. Ashdon was placed in the back of my cruiser 1946. Ashdon’s warrant was confirmed through LEADS/NCIC by GPD dispatch.

Ashdon was transported to the Darke County Jail and released to the jail staff. The back of my cruiser was checked before and after transport with no contraband was located.
