Greenville BPW Celebrates the Kick-off of 2026-2027 Business Year

GREENVILLE – August 23, 2026-The Greenville Business & Professional Women’s (BPW) Club will kick off its 2026-2027 meeting year on Thursday, September 10th at Sure Shot Tap House, 117 E 5th St., Greenville. Dinner is optional and starts at 6:30PM with the program to start at 7PM. The meeting will be hosted by the Legislative Committee with Chair Julie Hart and members Deb Niekamp, Dorothy Poeppelman, Kasey Christian and Susan Fowble.

The featured speaker is local attorney Ted Finnarn. He is a farmer representing the Ohio Farmers Union on the Agriculture Advisory Committee to the Division of Tax Equalization, regarding the Current Agricultural Use Valuation (CAUV) Law. Ted has been a member of that Advisory Committee for almost 50 years. He is also a member of the Ohio Farmers United. The topic to be discussed is property taxes.

The Greenville BPW Club’s mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information. The Club holds fundraisers throughout the year to raise money to grant scholarships to Darke County senior high school girls and young women furthering their careers. The Club meets the second Thursday of every month for a dinner meeting.
