Bernard C. Phlipot, age 88, of Greenville passed away at 6:25 pm Thursday, August 20, 2026, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
Bernard was born on June 26, 1938, in Russia, Ohio, to the late Joseph & Rosella (Mangen) Phlipot. In addition to his parents, Bernard was also preceded in death by his son, Bradley Phlipot, and brother, Don Phlipot.
Bernard is survived by his wife of 66 years, Doris (Rindler) Phlipot; daughter, Monique Phlipot of Greenville; grandchildren, Brandon Phlipot, Heather Philpot, Ryan Santiago, Kayleigh Clay; great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brenden, Nevaeh, and Ella; great great grandchild, Sae’lani; brother & sister-in-law, Richard & Judy Phlipot of Florida; sisters & brothers-in-law, Charlene Subler of Florida, Judy & Dave Shade of California, and Tammy & Mike Kelley of Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bernard served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Fram Corporation after 46 years of service. Bernard was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville and a former member of the Versailles Eagles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, August 27, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville with Rev. Fr. Matt Feist celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery in North Star with military honors. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 am at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
