GREENVILLE – Our county youth have worked hard year-round on their livestock projects. There are multiple ways to contribute towards their auction premium. Below is a brief summary of each:
1 – Live Sale of Champions held on Thursday, August 27th in the Cattle Show Arena. This sale will recognize the youth exhibiting the Grand and Reserve Champion projects. We will start with light refreshments at 4:30 pm. and the Celebration will begin at 5:30 pm.
2 – Online Auction available at www.bwfinaldrive.com where bidding will begin on Thursday, August 27th at 8 pm and continue until midnight on Thursday, Sept. 3rd. This platform will recognize ALL livestock exhibitors and provide buyers with an opportunity to contribute a specific amount toward an individual’s premium. Contributions may be made for $25 or more. The combined contributions from all buyers will be the exhibitor’s sale premium.
3 – Specific Species Bump up lot – The funds generated in this specific lot are used to support exhibitors who have a low final premium in that specific species. We are fortunate to have so many hard-working kids in our county and want to ensure everyone receives support for their projects.
4 – General Bump-Up lot is a support group for the livestock auction. This money will be used to support any exhibitors who end up on the lower side.
5 – Scholarship lots will be available for the sheep, goats, and swine departments. Buyers can choose to add to these lots to support the scholarship kids in these departments.

You may use this letter to gain admittance to the fair on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to visit with the exhibitors and to attend the Celebration.
ALL buyers will be mailed or emailed invoices for their purchases within one to two weeks following the conclusion of the online auction. Please pay the invoice promptly as the exhibitors will not receive their checks until all the buyers have paid.
