DARKE COUNTY – On August 9 at 9:49 p.m., Darke County Deputies, along with Gettysburg Fire and Gettysburg Rescue and CareFlight, were dispatched to the 7000 block of US 36 in reference to an injury crash involving a motorcycle.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Keegan Wortley (20) of Lebanon, Indiana was traveling eastbound on US 36, when Wortley failed to negotiate a curve. Wortley and his motorcycle traveled off the roadway, causing Mr. Wortley to be ejected from his motorcycle. Mr. Wortley was transported to Miami Valley Hospital for his injuries by CareFlight. The extent of Wortley’s injuries is unknown at this time.
This incident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office
