GREENVILLE – The Darke County Visitors Bureau will host a county-wide tourism collaborative on Tuesday, October 22, 2026, at the John & Iris Hathaway Education & Community Center, bringing together the partners who help make Darke County a truly distinctive destination.
The event, titled “Distinctly Darke County – Sharing Tourism Together,” invites tourism partners, community organizations, and local businesses to embark on an evening of networking, collaboration, and idea sharing. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with light refreshments provided.
“This gathering is about celebrating the people and places that shape the Darke County experience,” said Greg Billing, Executive Director of the Darke County Visitors Bureau. “Tourism thrives when partners connect, share ideas, and work together. This event is designed to strengthen those relationships and highlight the creativity and hospitality that make our county special.”
A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Distinctly Darke County Tourism Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions to visitor experience, community collaboration, hospitality, innovation, and the unique character of Darke County.
The collaborative aims to:

Encourage shared ideas and cross-promotion
Celebrate achievements in local tourism
Build momentum for future initiatives and events
